An innovative, global electronics company in Rancho Bernardo currently has an outstanding opportunity available for a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN INTERN Part Time / Non-Exempt / Temporary Rancho Bernardo ( Reports to Production/ R & D Operations Manager Wages: $11.00 per hour 15 – 20 hours per week
PRIMARY FUNCTION The primary function of the Engineering Technician intern is to provide support for Research and Development and Production by performing a variety of tasks including but not limited to research, data entry, assembly, documentation and testing.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Conduct research on parts and materials - Data Entry and Documentation - Product testing
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Basic knowledge of tools - Working knowledge of MS Office programs - Good writing skills - Knowledge of basic algebra - Excellent organization skills - Ability to create spreadsheets using MS Excel
PREFERRED SKILLS - Soldering experience - Knowledge of and/or experience working with oscilloscope and meters - Demonstrated knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Access - Mechanical assembly experience - Electrical wiring and assembly experience
