PRIMARY FUNCTION The goal of the Production Expeditor role will be to ensure that the data associated with production jobs is correctly processed within our ERP system in a timely manner. The goal of the Inventory Clerk role will be to store, pick, kit, issue and count raw materials, sub assemblies and supplies in support of production operations as well as report on inventory transactions and related records. In addition, this person would act as the ‘go to’ person for other departments using our ERP system and would either solve the problem or conduct initial troubleshooting before delegating the problem to the co-worker that could resolve it.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Issue and close production jobs - Account for Serial Numbers - Schedule jobs based on Planned Material Requirements Reports - Receive, sort and store raw materials, subassemblies and supplies into inventory. - Label bin locations with part numbers corresponding to ERP records. - Identify and communicate material shortages. - Review customer orders, prints bills of material and related labels and pick and kit materials for assembly of units to customer specifications. - Assist with inventory cycle counts. - Maintain inventory records. - Assisting in other duties as required to support production - ‘Help Desk” interface for problems that occur involving ERP transactions JOB REQUIREMENTS - Experience with MS Office programs including Excel and Word - Strong PC skills - Strong mathematical and analytical skills - Strong communications skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities - Accuracy and attention to detail - Ability to stand, bend, stoop, push, pull, climb, reach and sit for extended periods of time - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
PREFERRED SKILLS - Experience with one or more ERP systems - Experience with one or more MRP system - Experience with Production Planning - Experience with electronic components and boards - Knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures in production and engineering - Knowledge of inventory practices, procedures and concepts.
